Gulf Orange Disc, Winter, 1982 .....
The Hedberg underwent a major re-fitting in Vancouver BC.  During that process, the bow section, which had been cut off to facilitate addition of the new 60 foot long mid-section, sank while being fitted.  This accident caused a several month delay in completion of the re-fitting.
